If you’re looking to get into the Christmas spirit then why not head on down to Wapping Wharf from 5pm this evening where you can claim a free hot chocolate or mulled cider to warm up your cockles before the sparkly lights switch on.
The community will be gathering together for the festive switch on of the Christmas lights and these free drinks will be available from award-winning fish & chip restaurant Salt and Malt on a first-come first-served basis to the first 50 people who ask at the counter.
Bristol’s harbourside quarter will welcome the cast of Tobacco Factory Theatres’s Snow White where they’ll entertain the crowd with musical numbers, giving a taste of their show which runs from November 28 to January 19 at Tobacco Factory Theatres supported by a performance from the Blackbird Children’s Choir.
The festivities will kick off around 5pm with the switch-on itself planned for 5.45pm in the performance space on Gaol Ferry Steps in between Wild Beer and Calypso Kitchen and is free to attend.
Meanwhile, this weekend it’s the first Chocolate Quarter Christmas Market in Keynsham from 10am and the Totterdown Front Room Arts Trail. Have I missed anything? Have a great weekend everyone and don’t forget to like Broke in Bristol on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for all the latest deals, discounts and days out.
