Where to buy your real Christmas tree

Nov 26, 2020 | Uncategorised

My Christmas tree was a bargain from Argos three years ago and although I’ve added a few extra decorations to it, it’s still going strong. However, there’s nothing like a real tree to cheer you up after a difficult year. If you’re in Bristol, here’s where you can get yours…

IKEA

A real tree for £9? If you love IKEA, then order your tree online for click and collect and you’ll get a £20 voucher back to spend in store next year. A bargain if you’d spend £20 in IKEA anyway!

Refutrees

If you can afford to spend a little bit more, then get yourself a guilt-free tree from Aid Box Community (prices start from £32) and help support a refugee.

Ali & Jo’s Christmas Trees

Ali and Jo will be selling Christmas trees at various locations around Bristol and their first pop up is at Victoria Park, Bedminster on December 5 and 6. Or head on down to the Tobacco Factory, Southville on the 12th and 13th too. Check out their Facebook page for exact details.

Windmill Hill City Farm

Did you know you can buy a real Christmas tree from the farm for £30 upwards? There’s also some other Chrismassy stuff going on, check out their Facebook page for full details.

Hugos Deli, North St in Bedminster

Pop along to 73 north street or 94 Bedminster parade and you can pick up an English grown Christmas tree and put the smile on the face of a local business owner.

BS1 Christmas trees

There’s a Christmas Tree stall next to The Cock and Tail in BS1 where you can browse the trees and arrange free local delivery or collection from November 26.

Frenchay Christmas Tree Farm

The Frenchay Christmas Tree Farm is now open every day from 9am ‘til 5pm where you can choose your own tree.

Sheepway Christmas Trees

This farm is based in Portbury and is open Monday to Saturday from 10am ‘til 5pm and Sunday ‘til 4pm. Prices start from £20 and you can order online or pop in.

Cotswold Christmas Trees in Yate

Yate Town Football Club is now open and Covid safe if you want to treat yourself to a Cotswold Christmas Tree and it’s open from 8am to 9pm.

Riverside Garden Centre

Don’t see one near you on the list? Then check out your local garden centre – I know the Riverside Garden Centre is selling trees and hosting pop-up markets to showcase the work of local creatives.

Lidl Christmas Trees

Treat yourself to a 5ft Christmas tree from Lidl for £17.99 but try not to spend a fortune on the middle of Lidl while you’re there!
