I really feel for parents of little children as Christmas won’t be the same this year but don’t despair as Father Christmas is planning to spread more cheer than ever!
You may have already seen posts re the Santa Float 2020 doing the rounds on social media after passing through local villages around Bristol, Bath and South Gloucestershire.
Organiser Emily Lewis is the brains behind the campaign that is putting smiles on so many family’s faces and raising thousands of pounds for The Grand Appeal and Children’s Hospice South West.
This weekend they’ll be doing it all again and the best way to check out their route and ETA is to keep an eye on the Facebook page as a map will be posted later today and I’ll also add it to the comments. Those who have witnessed it already are raving about how great it was and how much the whole family enjoyed getting caught up in the excitement and signing along to the Christmas jingles.
Please remember to socially distance, wear face masks and stay in your gardens if you can. You can donate online via the GoFundMe page and proceeds will provide an invaluable service to family’s of sick children.
