Has the General Election and non-stop political coverage driven you to despair? Would a free beer today make you feel better? Oh go on then! To claim your your free beer worth £5 all you have to do is take a selfie of yourself outside the polling station and head on down to Brewdog in Bristol City Centre.
Brewdog will be giving away free pints to anyone over the age of 18 today who shows a selfie with the polling station sign clearly visible in the background. If you voted by post, you can still claim your free pint, just show the bar staff your confirmation email.
And it’s not just limited to Bristol – there are 50 Brewdog bars in England, Scotland and Wales where you can claim your free drink – before the bar closes today. You can choose from Punk IPA, Punk AF, Nanny State or Vagabond and the offer is limited to one drink per person. Don’t forget though, you’re not allowed to take photos inside the polling station.
Meanwhile, Brewdog isn’t the only company offering freebies today. Uber is offering free lifts to those who might find it difficult to get to their nearest polling station because they are older, in a wheelchair or disabled.
