If you shop at Lidl, or love saving money on your food shop, make sure you pick up the Metro newspaper tomorrow.
On Friday November 8, you can get a completely free £10 voucher which is great if, like me, you shop at Lidl anyway. Even if you’ve never shopped at the discount supermarket, why not give it a try to see if you could save on your ‘big shop’ by switching?
I usually pick up the Metro from Temple Meads station but you should be able to find it at any station in Bristol, on the train itself, or on the buses. It’s also available in The Daily Mail on Saturday (£1) or Mail on Sunday for £1.80 but of course it makes sense to pick it up for free if you can.
I’ve been a fan of Lidl for years and I’m particularly fond of its in-store bakery, cheese selection, grounded coffee and its award-winning wine selection. You can find your local Lidl store here: https://www.lidl.co.uk/about-us/store-finder-opening-hours.
And if you’re taking part in the UK Money Bloggers reverse advent calendar, Lidl is a cheap place to pick up items for your #FoodBankAdvent. See my post on No one should go hungry in Bristol this Christmas.
Don’t forget to like Broke in Bristol on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for all the latest local deals, discounts and days out.
