You know I love a bargain – so when I came across this particular deal I did a little whoop of joy! This month Halfords are offering a free MOT as long as you buy something online or from one of its stores – and the cheapest product I found was a £1 sponge.
This offer runs from September 10 until October 14 and the test can be booked anytime in the next 13 months. So all you need to do is buy something before October 14 and you’ll be given a voucher for the free tests which can be used at one of its centres across the UK. There are quite a few centres in Bristol, you can choose from Winterstoke Rd, Eastgate, Brislington or The Mall.
Of course you don’t have to buy a car wash sponge – buy something you actually need from Halfords and your MOT test will effectively be free! Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee that you won’t have to spend a bit more on repairs though.
