One of Bristol’s favourite family attractions is flinging open its doors this weekend to offer free entry to mums, dads and kids who live, or attend school, in Hartcliffe, Bristol. These Hello! weekends take place throughout the year and offer families and community groups who may not otherwise visit the science museum, a chance to explore We The Curious for free.
I took advantage of half-price tickets and took Little Miss Diva to the science museum earlier this year. We had fun creating an artist’s impression of a criminal, playing fun games questioning stereotypes, learning about how different foods give us varying amounts of energy and discovering how heavy our brains are.
It really is a great afternoon out and if you can enjoy this top attraction for free – even better. If your child goes to a local school in Hartcliffe they should have been given a flyer. If not, pop into the library and pick one up.
Whatever you do, don’t forget to take your voucher with you, as you won’t be given free admission without it. Have a great day and please send us your pictures! Do you love a bargain? Follow the Broke in Bristol Facebook page to never miss a local deal.
