25 Poundland bargains for you & the kids this Halloween

Sep 28, 2017 | Highlights, MAIN FEED

Welcome back to Broke in Bristol – the blog that helps you save money, make money and live life to the full on a shoestring. Little Miss Diva has been kindly reminding me that Halloween is just around the corner for some time now, so I recently caved in and took her on a shopping trip to Poundland at The Galleries, Bristol. This is how we got on…

Little Miss Diva’s eyes lit up as soon as we turned the corner to the dedicated Halloween aisle so I asked her to pick out 10 bargains that other kids would love for me to share with Broke in Bristol readers. She chose a holographic skeleton, 4 haunting photo frames, RIP tombstone, bladed glove, light up head bopper, spooky make up kit, all of the sweet selection, the trick or treat buckets and a witches broom. Top tip: she recommended pairing the cat mask and tail dress up pack with a black dress or bin liner to make a really cheap – yet cute – Halloween outfit.

I, on the other hand, had a look at the party essentials to try and help those parents planning a spooky party on a shoestring. My top 15 bargains included an 8 pack of spooky straws, 15 Halloween party poppers, 16 Halloween coasters, 5 creepy crackers, a cupcake stand, cupcake decoration kit, 40 paper cups, 20 paper plates, 20 party bowls, 24 paper napkins, a wipe clean tablecloth, a lacy tablecloth, a pumpkin carving kit, an 8 pack of party platters and a pack of 5 balloons.

We visited the central Bristol store in late September 2017 but please bear in mind that not all shops have the same stock. However, you can take a look at the range online by clicking here. If you found this post useful please share it with your friends and don’t forget to like the Broke in Bristol Facebook page to never miss an update.
