Little Miss Diva has always loved Halloween so when I told her that we won’t be going trick or treating this year thanks to Covid 19, I thought she was going to burst into tears.
I’ve taken her trick or treating every year since she was a toddler when I dressed her up as a pumpkin – as you can see from the picture – so it’ll be strange not doing it this year but it doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun.
I’ll be making the house look terror -ific with just a few bits and bobs from Poundland and when I took Little Miss Diva to our local store in Bedminster last week this is what we found.
When it comes to dressing up there was so much choice including a Furry Werewolf Mask, Clown Mask and Scary Bunny mask! There’s also a witches broom, devil’s Glow Stick, Toy Axe and a Chainsaw and more than 10 different make up kits.
As Little Miss Diva is now a teenager she loved the Masquerade Masks and the Blood and Lace Choker. Younger kids will adore the Halloween Shark Dress Up and Unicorn Dress Up sets at £2.
There’s lots of stuff for grown ups too including an assortment of different wigs, adult sized tights and spooky capes. This year there’s even more stuff for decorating the house including a Spooky Eyeball Curtain, Skellington Window Stikckers, Paper Pumpkin Lanters, Spooky Balloons, a Halloween Door Bell and a 4ft glow in the dark skeleton.
Altogether there’s at least 100 items including new things this year that I’ve never seen before like a Pass The Eyeball Game (£2), a Screaming Doormat Sensor a Bleeding Skull Candle, a Halloween Projector and sweets that will put a smile on anyone’s face. What bargains have you found?
